Jude and David contacted us about various problems within their recently purchased property and this would eventually lead us to employing an structural engineer to highlight and come up with a solution to the problem, what entailed was a suggestion to 'knock' two rooms into one large family space which would open plan the kitchen and lounge while redesigning the fireplace with specially designed putt brick and sourced slate hearths while realigning the wood burning stove, Jude had a particular concern with the existing staircase which had an open baluster and with two young children in the house made the stairwell unsafe, we helped Jude with a choice of options which ended with a toughened glass baluster fitted with stainless steel, this has greatly enhanced the stairwell particularly with the light from the windows on the mid-landing.
